Marblehead is a master-planned community in central San Clemente. Built primarily during the late 1980s and early 1990s, residences fall into eight neighborhoods, neighborhoods comprised of single-family homes (5) and high-end condos and townhomes (3). It is no surprise then that Marblehead offers a wide variety of housing options are available, including ungated and gated tracts – although most are gated. With the exceptions of Faire Harbour and New Providence, every neighborhood includes a gate if not a guarded gate. Privacy is a draw as is affordability when compared to communities with comparable amenities to Marblehead living.
What sets Marblehead apart from the rest of San Clemente is it is one of the smallest communities, yet it has some of the most luxurious amenities. The Marblehead community is known for nearby Marblehead Park and Outlets at San Clemente. Everything from dining and shopping outlets to sport courts and fields to picnic and cooking areas to walking and hiking trails are complete with an ocean view. And downtown San Clemente beaches, restaurants, and shops are a short drive via I-5 or Pacific Coast Highway.
Marblehead homes are designed between 1,888 to 3,604 square feet with four to five bedrooms. But with the addition of the Sea Summit neighborhood, Marblehead homes now top out at 4,710 square feet. And Marblehead condos and townhomes range from 989 to 2,318 square feet with two to four bedrooms. What remains the same for most Marblehead residences is that they enjoy all manner of coastline and city light vistas from multiple vantage points. Capistrano Beach, Dana Point, and Rancho Mission Viejo are nearby. Work commutes or recreational drives are made simple with easy access to I-5 and Pacific Coast Highway.
