Within the communities of Pacifica San Juan, hiking, horseback riding, BBQ’s, and enjoying the pool and spa are commonplace, but for things to do around Pacifica San Juan, the possibilities are endless. 

For starters, a short drive away is beautiful Newport Beach, where you can get some drinks with friends, go surfing, or go whale watching. 

Downtown San Juan Capistrano is also a short drive away from Pacifica San Juan. Here, take advantage of the plethora of restaurants, wine bars, or catch a movie at Regency Theaters.

El Adobe de Capistrano is an excellent Mexican restaurant that is recognized as a State Historical Landmark, and features authentic Mexican cuisine with an exceptional ambiance. They’re open for dinner, dessert and Sunday brunch.

The Train Depot is not to be missed. Completed in 1894, this unique landmark features gorgeous brick arches and a 40-foot dome with a mission bell. Offering excellent cuisine in the most beautiful of historic settings, this restaurant offers a choice of outside patio dining or an inside fireside table. An incredible art gallery adds to the wonderful ambiance of this restaurant.

San Juan Hills Golf Club, an 18-hole, rather challenging public golf course, and is an oasis for both the serious golfer and weekend warrior. Nestled in the picturesque hills of San Juan Capistrano, this club is a Par 71 Champion golf course. After a day of golfing, you can’t go wrong with grabbing a bite to eat at SJH Sports Bar & Grill.

For history enthusiasts, check out historic San Juan Capistrano and explore what has been coined as the oldest preserved residential street in the state of California. To better understand the city’s past, there is the O’Neill Museum, the Egan House “Harmony Hall’, and the historic structures at Mission San Juan Capistrano. Tours happen every Sunday.
